At Split Mesquite Farm, we offer you high quality horses with a special attention to detail. We interact with our horses on a daily basis and each horse receives individualized care. Although we are a relatively new farm, we have worked hard finding the highest quality mares to develop our breeding program. Our foals have received premium awards and inspection champion awards. Three of our mares have an elite, elite candidate or premium status. Our young stallion, Gran Casso, has gone through his preliminary approvals and will be campaigned in dressage in 2010 and will also be presented to additional breed registries. The first foal produced at SMF, Freedance, is being kept as a stallion prospect to create a new generation of top notch sporthorses. We typically have a few horses for sale at any one time and sometimes we will post client's sale horses as well. Our goal is to create horses that balance pedigree and performance.
